The Philadelphia Eagles have confirmed that they have signed linebacker Brad Jones on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old was released by the Green Bay Packers as he played a limited role for the club during the 2014 campaign.
However, the Eagles have moved to sign the veteran to bolster their linebacking corps due to uncertainty over the futures of several players at the position on Chip Kelly's current roster ahead of the 2015 season.
Jones has recorded 258 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles in his six-year NFL career.
