Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel has admitted that he does not want to think about the potential end of his NFL career.
The 35-year-old's contract with the Steelers expires at the end of the season in a year where he has battle several injuries and has played 10 out of his side's 14 games.
"You hate thinking about the end," Keisel told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
"You hate thinking about not being able to do it anymore. But everyone, especially if you're an older guy, you understand the business.
"You can't say that no one ever thinks about it. I have a lot of great memories and build new, fond memories every day, and that's what's been the best part."
Keisel has been in the NFL for 12 seasons and has amassed 387 tackles and 27 sacks.
