Ben Roethlisberger has said that his knee "feels great" following surgery during the off-season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback underwent the procedure at the start of June to clean up his meniscus.
The 31-year-old told NFL Total Access: "It feels great, I was excited to get back here.
"Took a big break after the surgery, took a couple weeks off, and I did that on purpose so I could have time to rest."
Roethlisberger completed 3,265 passing yards during the 2012 season.
