NFL commentator Kenny Albert has revealed that he is "impressed" by San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers.
The 31-year-old has completed 798 passing yards and eight touchdown passes during the AFC West side's first three games of the season.
Albert, who will commentate on today's game at the Qualcomm Stadium, told the team's official website: "We haven't done a Chargers game since 2006, so asides from Philip Rivers and a couple other guys it's a whole new team. I'm really impressed with Philip Rivers. I was impressed by him today.
"I'm looking forward to seeing him out there. Back in 2006 it was his first year as a starter, and he's really matured over his years in this league. I'm looking forward to watching him play."
The Chargers host the Dallas Cowboys later today.
