The San Diego Chargers have confirmed that Tom Telesco will be their new general manager.
The Indianapolis Colts' vice president of football operations takes over the role from AJ Smith, who was fired at the end of the regular NFL season.
Telesco will join the search committee for the Chargers' next head coach, following Norv Turner's dismissal.
The Chargers made the changes after winning seven of 16 games this season, and missing out on the playoffs.
