The San Diego Chargers have confirmed that they agreed a deal to re-sign cornerback Brandon Flowers.
The 29-year-old signed for the AFC West side last year on a one-year contract, and had a solid year for Mike McCoy's men as they narrowly missed out on the post-season.
Flowers was due to become available on the free-agent market on Tuesday, but the Chargers moved to retain the services of the cornerback by securing him to a four-year contract worth up to $36m (£23.7m).
Flowers recorded 52 tackles and three interceptions for the club last season.
