San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore believes that his side's recent offensive struggles are down to their opponents' good defensive play.
The 49ers have scored just 29 points in their back-to-back defeats to the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints.
Gore told the San Francisco Chronicle: "Defenses are doing a great job on us, game-planning for us."
Jim Harbaugh's side face the Washington Redskins on Monday.
