San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has admitted that his game must become better following a disappointing all-round performance on Sunday.
Kaepernick passed for 150 yards and rushed for just 20 in Sunday's 27-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, his second poor performance in a row after a lacklustre display against the Seattle Seahawks in week two of the NFL season.
"I have to be better," Kaepernick told 49ers.com. "I have to throw receivers open and give them a chance to make some plays. I think we're stopping ourselves and against the Colts we just didn't execute."
Kaepernick was a revelation in his rookie year last season, leading the 49ers to the Super Bowl following an injury to first-string quarterback Alex Smith.
