Frank Gore has said that the San Francisco 49ers were the better team in Super Bowl XLVII.
The Baltimore Ravens beat the NFC champions 34-31, having taken a 28-6 lead early in the third quarter.
The running back told The Associated Press: "They got away with one. We showed we were the better team. It was just a couple plays here, a couple plays there."
Gore had 19 carries during the game, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown.
