San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is prepared to talk with owner Jed York and general manager Trent Baalke about his future with the club.
The 50-year-old has been linked with a return to the college game with the Michigan Wolverines as he has reportedly had disagreements with members of the 49ers' hierarchy throughout the year.
However, Harbaugh has admitted that he is willing to talk about his future with the club, and has insisted that his team will continue to play positively, despite their elimination from playoff contention.
"I'm always available to sit down with the owner or general manager, absolutely," Harbaugh told reporters.
When asked about the rest of the season, he added: "That's what a professional does, focuses every week, every practice, every play, every game, every ounce of energy you have."
The 49ers have failed to reach the post-season for the first time under four years of Harbaugh's coaching.
