The San Francisco 49ers have signed free agent cornerback Shareece Wright on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old was allowed the leave the San Diego Chargers at the end of the 2014 season after failing to agree a new contract to extend his four-year stay at the AFC West club.
Jim Tomsula's men moved to sign Wright to a one-year contract worth up to $4m (£2.7m) after losing players at the cornerback position during free agency.
Wright recorded 137 tackles and one interception in his four years with the Chargers.
