Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has revealed that left tackle Russell Okung is unlikely to feature in Sunday's match against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a toe injury.
Okung limped off towards the end of the first quarter of Seattle's match against the San Francsico 49ers at the weekend and was unable to return despite going through some footwork drills on the sidelines.
The Pro Bowl lineman is reported to have torn a ligament in his toe, although Carroll is so far unaware of the severity of the injury.
"I know there is some stuff that happened there and we're waiting to figure it all out. I think it's best just to hold there. If I told you something, I would be making it up," Carroll told reporters.
Despite not knowing the full extent of the injury, Carroll has admitted that Okung is unlikely to ready to face Jacksonville this weekend.
"I don't think that's possible," he said. "We will see what happens. I don't think he can make that."
The Seahawks went on to beat the 49ers 29-3 to extend their record this season to 2-0.
