Seattle Seahawks outside linebacker Bruce Irvin has insisted that he hopes to be playing for the Atlanta Falcons in 2016.
The Seahawks decided not to pick up the fifth-year option on his contract, which led to an angry response from the star on his official Twitter page.
"I'm going to be in Atlanta next season," Irvin told BlackSportsOnline.com.
"I'm ready."
Irvin, who is from Atlanta originally, added that he would like to play for new Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, who was his defensive co-ordinator in Seattle.
The linebacker has had 16.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and three interceptions in his three seasons with the Seahawks.
