St Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has refused to go into detail about the contract of quarterback Sam Bradford.
Bradford is entering the penultimate year of his six-year deal with the team and will count $17.6m (£10.5m) against the salary cap, leading to suggestions that the Rams could look to restructure the contract or even release the 26-year-old.
However, Fisher hinted that the latter was not an option he was considering despite the Rams holding two first-round picks in a Draft containing a number of promising quarterbacks.
"We talk about extensions with all our players under contract. Whether or not we do so with him, I don't know where all this came from, but Sam's our quarterback. He's going to be under center," Fisher told ESPN.
Bradford missed a large chunk of the 2013 season after suffering a torn ACL in week seven.
