Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson has set the beginning of training camp as a target for his return to fitness.
Goldson will miss the rest of his side's off-season programme after undergoing ankle surgery earlier this month in an attempt to fix a problem that he picked up during the 2013 campaign.
However, the 29-year-old is confident that he will have recovered in time to take part in his side's training camp, which begins in July.
"I think training camp will be a good timetable. Right now, I'm just relying on our training staff to get me back right," Goldson told reporters.
Goldson joined the Buccaneers in 2013 after being released by the San Francisco 49ers.
