Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Dashon Goldson has been suspended by the NFL for one game following a hit on Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White.
The incident occurred in the second quarter of the Buccaneers' win over the Falcons when White attempted to catch a pass from Matt Ryan and was hit late by Goldson.
Goldson was penalised for the hit with an unnecessary roughness call, his third of the season, and on review the NFL have chosen to suspend him for one game following the repeat offence.
The 29-year-old was suspended earlier in the season for one game but had his ban overturned on appeal and was handed a $100,000 (£62,123) fine instead.
The Buccaneers are 2-8 in their season after week 11.
