New Tennessee Titans defensive line coach Giff Smith has admitted that it is "exciting" to link up with Ken Whisenhunt for the 2014 season.
Smith said that the Titans fans should expect to see an aggressive form of defense under his stewardship, and the former Buffalo Bills man cannot wait to get started in his new role.
"I think it is an exciting time, working with someone like coach Whisenhunt and his track record, being able to win and get to a Super Bowl," he told the club's official website. "To be a part of that and also to be a part of what Ray Horton has been able to do defensively is an exciting time and I am looking forward to being a part of it.
"As a coach, I believe in execution of the defensive plan and being technique-orientated. I am aggressive in style, I believe in pressuring the quarterback and being physical against the run."
Smith's previous role at the Bills was between 2010 and 2012.
