The Tennessee Titans have announced that they have released young quarterback Tyler Wilson.
Wilson has endured a tough time in the NFL since being drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2013, with the player subsequently cut from the side before the season had even started.
Wilson was handed a lifeline by the Titans, but he has been unable to beat off competition from Zach Mettenberger during camps this off-season.
As Wilson departs, the team has revealed the arrivals of both tight end Chase Coffman and defensive lineman Lanier Coleman.
