Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden has admitted that the blame lies with coaches and players for his side's poor start to the season.
The Redskins lost for the fourth game in a row as they slipped to a 30-20 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals in which quarterback Kirk Cousins threw three interceptions in the fourth quarter.
Gruden told reporters: "I won't blame the players for poor execution and I don't think the coaches can say it's the coaches for poor game planning. It's a combination.
"When we have the record we have, as long as we're all willing to accept the fact that we are all letting the city down, the better chance we have of getting out of the rut."
Washington are currently 1-5 in their season following their defeat to the Cardinals.
