Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan believes that running back Matt Jones has similar traits to All-Pro Marshawn Lynch.
The NFC East side selected Jones from the Florida Gators in the third round of the 2015 Draft to compete with Alfred Morris for the starting job in the club's backfield.
McCloughan has admitted that he was drawn to pick Jones because of his resemblance to Lynch, who has thrived in the NFL as a member of the Seattle Seahawks.
He told ESPN: "Matt Jones reminds me a lot of Marshawn from the standpoint that he's north-south, he's downhill and he's not afraid of contact."
Jones rushed for 1,431 yards and 11 touchdowns in his three years with the Gators.
