Sports Mole rounds up all the action from the latest round of pre-season games in the NFL.

The Washington Redskins defeated the Detroit Lions 21-17 in their pre-season clash, although their win was tainted by an injury to quarterback Robert Griffin III.

The 25-year-old sustained a suspected concussion in the second quarter when he was hit by defensive end Corey Wootton, which ruled him out for the rest of the match.

The Lions held a 10-0 lead before Griffin suffered his injury as Matt Prater kicked over from 49 yards and Dan Orlovsky found Jeremy Ross in the endzone for a three-yard touchdown.

Matt Jones to Washington back into the game with a score just before the break, and in the third quarter Reggie Bell collected a 19-yard strike from Colt McCoy to put them ahead.

Detroit hit back with a touchdown from Zach Zenner as he latched on to a pass from Orlovsky, but the Redskins secured the win when Kirk Cousins hit Rashad Ross in the endzone.

The Buffalo Bills edged past the Cleveland Browns with a late score in their pre-season clash to win 11-10 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

After a scoreless first quarter Dan Carpenter and Travis Coons exchanged field goals to leave the score a 3-3 heading into the break.

In the fourth quarter the Browns took the lead when Jonny Manziel fired a touchdown strike to Shane Wynn, but the Bills came back as Andre Davis collected a touchdown from EJ Manuel.

The AFC East side opted against kicking the extra point to tie the game and went for two instead, and they won the match as Manuel connected with Bronson Hill for the score.

The New York Jets overcame a 14-point deficit to record a 30-22 win over the Atlanta Falcons at MetLife Stadium.

The Falcons raced into the lead in the first quarter courtesy of a four-yard run of Terron Ward and a touchdown strike from Matt Ryan to Leonard Hankerson to put them 14-0 ahead.

New York got on the board with a two-point safety when Leonard Williams brought down TJ Yates, while Chris Ivory ran in from 33 yards to add a touchdown, while the team were successful with the resulting two-point conversion.

Nick Folk added two field goals to hand the Jets the lead, and in the third quarter Bryce Petty found DeVier Posey in the endzone for a 13-yard score and the home side compounded their advantage when Rontez Miles returned a fumble 57 yards for a touchdown.

The Falcons gave themselves hope with a one-yard score from Michael Ford, and Yates connected with Levine Toilolo for the two-point conversion, but the Jets held out for the win.

The Kansas City Chiefs edged out the Seattle Seahawks in their pre-season match by a 14-13 margin at Arrowhead Stadium.

Neither side could score any points in the first quarter, but the Chiefs clicked into gear when Jeremy Maclin collected a three-yard strike from Alex Smith in the endzone.

Steven Hauschka put the Seahawks on the board with a 25-yard field goal, while Bobby Wagner intercepted a pass from Smith and returned it for a touchdown.

The Chiefs retook the lead in the third quarter when Chase Daniel fired to James O'Shaughnessy in the endzone, and the home side held out for the win, despite a late field goal from Hauschka.
