An unnamed Washington Redskins player has hit out at quarterback Robert Griffin III for his performances and attitude towards the team this season.
Griffin was dropped for his side's defeat to the Indianapolis Colts last week in favour of Colt McCoy as has struggled to find his form during the campaign.
The 24-year-old's frustration appeared to get the better of him when he criticised himself and his teammates during a press conference.
The unnamed player told TMZ Sport: "No one is happy; no one gets the hype around him anymore. He's secluded and it affects us in the game. We don't have that real rapport. He's lost confidence and is complacent now.
"I don't see him being in the NFL for that long. I think he goes into politics. He's good at that kinda thing."
Griffin has thrown for 869 yards and two touchdowns to three interceptions in five games for the Redskins this season.
