Robert Griffin III has said that he is not worried about taking a hit during the Washington Redskins' first game of the new NFL season.
The quarterback has not been tackled since he sustained a knee ligament tear in January.
The 2012 offensive rookie of the year told reporters: "[Getting hit] will feel good. Football is football. You're going to get hit when you play the game.
"I don't really worry about it. Just go out there and play. That's what we get up every morning to do. We enjoy it. I'm not afraid of it. I'm not really anxious about it, just go out there and play.
"I think it's ingrained in my head now. I'll be getting down on Monday night. Football is football, man. You step on that field, you've got to play. Your adrenaline is running so you usually I don't feel the hits until the next day anyway, so we'll see how I feel the day after."
The Redskins play the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.
