Robert Griffin III has said that the Washington Redskins have not lost their confidence, despite losing the first three games of the 2013 NFL season.
The NFC East side also made a slow start last year, winning just three of their first nine games, before going on to win their division.
The quarterback told reporters: "I think the swagger you are talking about, it's hard to have that swagger sitting at 0-3, but I don't think the team has lost its sense of confidence.
"We know how close we are. We know we can turn it around. We're built to get out of this hole just like we were last year. With anything anybody else says, that's just stuff you have to ignore.
"We just have got to make the plays that are there and if it's not there, try to do something and make a positive play. So, from that standpoint, I thought we all did a lot better."
The Redskins face the Oakland Raiders this Sunday.
