Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan has revealed that he plans to meet owner Dan Snyder at the end of the season to discuss the future of the club.
Reports suggest that the 61-year-old will leave the Redskins after a disastrous campaign that has seen them slip to 3-11, a year after reaching the NFC playoffs.
Shanahan told reporters: "I'll get a chance to sit down with Dan at the end of the season. I'll give him my opinion on the direction I think the franchise could go.
"He's going to give me his idea what he wants to do, he's the owner of the football team. But all we can do at the end of the season is communicate and I think we have that kind of relationship where we can be honest with each other."
The Redskins have lost for the sixth week in a row when they were defeated by the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
