Mike Shanahan has said that the Washington Redskins will be assessing quarterback Robert Griffin III on a daily basis after he sustained a knee injury on Sunday.
RG3 was unable to finish the game against the Baltimore Ravens after picking up a grade one lateral collaterial ligament sprain.
The head coach told reporters: "We did not know going into the [MRI scan] if was a grade one, two, or three.
"So it's a grade one, you're hopeful with rehab it gets better very quickly, but we don't know for sure.
"We'll have to go day by day and evaluate it day by day."
The side has not ruled out the possibility that the rookie could be fit in time for the Skins game against the Cleveland Browns this weekend.
