Sally Pearson has won the 100m hurdles gold medal by crossing the line in a new Olympic record of 12.35s.
The Australian finished two-hundredths ahead of American Dawn Harper, who ran a personal best of 12.37s.
Kellie Wells took the bronze medal with another personal best of 12.48s.
Pearson, 25, who wasn't sure of victory until her name appeared at the top of the screens inside the Olympic stadium, adds Olympic gold to her World Championship title from last year.
