The United States and Bahamas 4x400m men's relay teams progressed through to tomorrow night's final at the Olympic Games this morning.
The Bahamas squad, which included Chris Brown, eventually won the race in a time of 2:58.87.
USA's quartet finished just behind their counterparts from the Bahamas, while the Dominican Republic were third.
However, the Dominican Republic squad have since been disqualified for a lane infringement.
As a result, Russia will take their place in the final.
