The favourite China's Huang Lisha has won the T53 100m gold medal in comfortable fashion with a time of 16.42, 0.2s outside of the world record.
Only her compatriot Zhou Hongzhuan put up any kind of a challenge but she faded, hanging on to silver with her personal best 16.90.
Angela Ballard of Australia took the bronze medal and a regional record was set with her time of 17.14.
In truth the medals were decided quite early on and the other competitors were never in with a chance of making the podium.
