Team England's David Weir has admitted that he is expecting a tough final in the men's 1,500m T54 competition at the Commonwealth Games.
Weir qualified fastest from his heat in a time of 3:28.24 as he looks to add Commonwealth gold to his plethora of achievements in the sport.
However, the 35-year-old is wary of the field in the final, especially Australia's Kurt Fearnley.
He told reporters: "It's going to be a tough one because you've got Kurt Fearnley in there and you never know what he's going to be like on the track but it will be an interesting final on Thursday."
Weir won four gold medals for Team GB during the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
