Team England's Richard Yates has qualified for the final of the men's 400m hurdles, but defending Commonwealth Games champion Wales's Dai Greene is out of the event.
Yates reached the final despite failing to finish in the top two of his heat as his time of 49.80s was the second-fastest out of the non-automatic qualifiers.
Greene crashed out of the competition as he recorded a time of 50.36s after attempting to make a comeback from a spate of injuries, and he will not be able to defend his title from the Delhi Games.
England's Seb Rodger and Niall Flannery also failed to reach the final, which takes place on Thursday.
