Lawrence Clarke has revealed that a series of frustrating injuries has resulted in him limiting his targets for 2015.
Following recovery from a broken wrist and hamstring injuries, Clarke was forced to withdraw from the European final last summer after enduring further hamstring issues. After months of rehabilitation, the Olympic finalist is keen to continue his progress since the turn of the year.
The 24-year-old told BBC Sport: "Getting injured before the Euros final was crushing, but I did rehab and nothing else after the Europeans and came back in the winter in a great position.
"Because of the injuries I've had, I don't want to give myself any aspirations but, hopefully, if I just keep going on this trajectory, I will keep running well."
Clarke competes at the British Indoor Championship this weekend, where he hopes to earn selection for the European Indoors.
