Mo Farah is determined to win at the British Grand Prix on Saturday to prepare himself for the World Championships in Moscow in August.

Olympic champion Mo Farah has said that he is determined to win the British Grand Prix on Saturday.

The 29-year-old, who will participate in the 3,000m race at the Indoor Arena in Birmingham, is also keen on clinching the 10,000m winner's medal at the World Championships in Moscow in August.

"For me, you must win because it's the first race," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"That race (10,000m in 2011) nags away but you learn from your mistakes and I have learnt a lot from that race. I am always motivated and I have to be even more motivated now, because when you're at the top there are more people who want to knock you down.

"There are more eyes on you. After the Olympics I just wanted to spend time with my family. Then you have to go and pick up the training. If I don't, I know I'll get beat."

Farah, who won the 5,000m and 10,000m at the 2012 London Games, has been training in Kenya ahead of the new season.
