Tyson Gay has triumphed over compatriot Justin Gatlin in the 100m Diamond League event in Paris.
The 29-year-old overcame a poor start and clocked 9.99 seconds to avenge his defeat to Gatling at the US Olympic trials last month. France's Christophe Lemaitre came in third place.
Despite victory, the time is short of those run by Yohan Blake (9.75s) and Usain Bolt (9.86s) at the Jamaican Olympic trials earlier this week.
It is also short of his own season's best (9.86s), which came at the Olympic trials.
