Geoffrey Kipsang Kamworor believes that running a high-tempo race in the 10,000m at this year's World Championships will be enough to see off the challenge of Mo Farah.

Farah has prevailed in the last two world finals, but ahead of the event in Beijing in August, Kipsang Kamworor has insisted that he has the gameplan to execute a stronger finish than his rivals.

The 24-year-old told Strive-Cast: "I'm going to train very hard and do a lot of speed work. For me running 10,000m, I will go with a high pace throughout the event until the finish. I don't want to go a slow pace and then at the end, someone can kick in 52 seconds for the last 400m.

"So, for me, I'll go with the high speed until the end. By then, no one will have the strength to kick because of the high pace they have been coming through."

The Kenyan athlete has a number of podium finishes in half-marathon and marathon races during the past three years.
