British athlete Paula Radcliffe has opted to end her career over 26.2 miles at the London Marathon in April.
The 41-year-old has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning over two decades, but organisers of the event staged in England's capital have revealed that she will run her final marathon in just over three months' time.
Organiser Hugh Brasher is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We are absolutely thrilled that Paula has chosen London for her final marathon."
Radcliffe, who has won the race three times, set a new world record of two hours, 15 minutes and 25 seconds in 2003.
