Triple jump world champion Teddy Tamgho has been banned for a year after missing three drug tests over an 18-month period.
The French athlete, who is currently out injured with a fractured tibia, became the third man to leap over 18m when he won the world title in Moscow last year.
However, Tamgho has been banned from competing until 17 March 2015 - a date which has been backdated by the French Athletics Federation due his "good faith" during the case, ruling that he did not deliberately miss the three doping tests.
The 25-year-old was also banned for 12 months in 2011 after being involved in a fight with a female athlete.
