American sprinter Justin Gatlin has recorded the fastest 100m time in 2015 at Friday's Diamond League meeting in Doha.
Gatlin, who has served two doping bans, ran a new personal best of 9.74 seconds, which was also the joint-sixth fastest time in history.
After the race, the 33-year-old said: "I just wanted to go out and put down a good time. I know I had to go out and make a statement. That's what my coach told me to do."
Michael Rodgers and Keston Bledman finished in second and third respectively, while Great Britain's James Dasaolu came home in last place in a time of 10.14 seconds.
