The first 74 locations on the route for next year's Olympic torch relay have been revealed.
The torch will begin its 8,000-mile journey at Land's End in Cornwall on Saturday, May 19, 2012. It will visit every nation and region of the UK, including the Isle of Man, Jersey, Shetland, Orkney, Guernsey and the Isle of Lewis.
Key cities on the 70-day tour include Bristol, Liverpool, Belfast, Aberdeen, Manchester and Southampton.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is expected to announce further details of the route later this year.
The organisation will begin a search for 8,000 "inspirational torchbearers" on its website later today.
