Great Britain's Sebastian Rodger, Niall Flannery and Tom Burton all failed to qualify for the final of the men's 400m hurdles at the European Athletics Championships in Zurich this evening.
Rodger was the pick of the three, running a season-best time of 49.47s but finishing fourth in his semi and missing out on a fastest-loser spot.
The fastest time of the semi-finals was set by Estonia's Rasmus Magi, who crossed the line in a national record of 48.54s.
Finland's Oskari Moro also set a new national record with 49.08s, which was the fourth-fastest time of the semis.
