Olympics: Guide to day 11

:Headline: Olympics: Guide to day 11: ID:38858: from db_amp
On a day where Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Usain Bolt, Phillips Idowu and Alistair Brownlee are all in action, Sports Mole brings you an action-packed preview of proceedings at London 2012.

Day 11 at London 2012 will see the conclusion of the cycling events at the velodrome, where Victoria Pendleton and a certain Sir Chris Hoy will be saying emotional farewells.

There is also much to look forward to on the track and beyond. Sports Mole has compiled a list of today's best bits.

Equestrian: Dressage team final round at 10am
Team GB dressage trio of Carl Hester, Laura Bechtolsheimer and Charlotte Dujardin are in the lead going into today's final round. However, with Germany narrowly behind them, Britain's pursuit of their first Olympic title in this event will be a nervy one.

Final track cycling sessions at 10am
Pendleton and Hoy will both be looking to end their Olympic careers with more medals.

Hoy will be aiming for his sixth gold when he takes part in the men's Keirin, which begins with heats at 10am and concludes with the final at 5.57pm.

Pendleton will line up in the women's individual sprint semi-finals at 4pm and, most probably, the final at 5.26pm before she retires from competition completely.

Triple jump heats at 10.45am
Controversial fans' favourite Phillips Idowu will be aiming to silence his critics and brush aside fears over his fitness by qualifying for the final. A hop, skip and jump of 17.10m will be enough.

Triathlon at 11.30am
The British Brownlee brothers of Alistair and Jonathan have dominated the sport of triathlon in recent years and it would be a surprise if one of them did not swim, cycle and run their way to gold at Hyde Park.

Men's 200m heats at 11.50am
Jamaica's Usain Bolt will once again take centre stage at the Olympic Stadium this morning. The fastest man of all time, who broke the Olympic record to win the 100m title on Sunday, is the heavy favourite to take gold in this event as well.

Sailing: men's RS:X at 1pm
This is possibly going to be the last ever day of windsurfing racing at an Olympic Games because the sport will be replaced by kiteboarding in 2016. Dutchman Dorian van Rijsselberge has already sealed the gold medal, however Britain's Nick Dempsey is currently second and well in contention for a podium finish.

Men's high jump final at 7pm
Team GB's Robbie Grabarz is one of four men in with a real chance of gold. The others to watch out for are Ivan Ukhov, Jesse Williams and Andrey Silnov.

Men's hockey: Team GB vs. Spain at 7pm
Team GB came back from 3-0 down to draw with Australia on Monday night. They require another draw or better from tonight's match with Spain to qualify for the semi-finals.

Men's high jump final at 7.15pm
Lawrence Okoye left it late before registering a throw of 65.28m to qualify fourth for tonight's final. The 20-year-old Brit is in with a chance of a medal tonight.
