Great Britain will not have an athlete in the final of the men's 1500m after Andrew Baddeley missed out on the qualification places inside the Olympic Stadium this evening.

The 30-year-old finished in eighth spot, with only the top five guaranteed automatic progress through to the final.

Abdalaati Iguider won the race, while Silas Kiplagat, Nicholas Willis, Nixon Kiplimo Chepseba and Matthew Centrowitz also advance.

The final will take place on Tuesday evening.
