Team GB's Mervyn Luckwell has failed to make the qualifying distance for the final of the men's javelin at the London Olympics.
The 27-year-old from Milton Keynes could only record a best throw of 74.09m, which was some way short of the distance required.
It was also just over seven metres short of the furthest losers distance.
Luckwell is currently considered to be Britain's number one male javelin thrower.
