Great Britain's David Devine has admitted that he was beaten by two better runners on the day after his bronze in the T12 800m final.
Devine, who managed to pip Cuba's Lazaro Rashid on the line, has said that he will try to improve to beat Abderrahim Zhiou and Egor Sharov in future.
"My legs just felt really flat today," Devine said. "Running a huge personal best (in the T13 1500m) took its toll on me I think.
"I can't complain; the two lads who beat me today were better than me. So I can just go back, work hard and hopefully get them next time.
"As soon as I came off that bend I thought I'd just give it one push and if he fades I'll be able to get him. With about 15 metres to go I thought I was going to, and luckily I did."
Devine's third place means that he has taken two bronze medals at the Paralympic Games.
