Sprinter Dwain Chambers believes that the home crowd are having a positive impact on the British athletes inside the Olympic Stadium.
The 34-year-old was speaking after he won his 100m heat, which has seen him progress to the semi-finals of the competition.
"I'm glad to have got through the heat," he told BBC Sport. "The roar of the crowd was amazing. I can see how much of an impact it is having.
"It's a very fast track. It all bodes well but I've still got to get through the rounds."
Chambers ran his fastest time of the season during his heat.
