Great Britain's Lawrence Okoye has been eliminated at the early stages of the Olympic discus final.
The 20-year-old could only manage a best throw of 61.03m from his first three attempts, nearly 3m short of the eighth-placed man.
Okoye qualified for the final by throwing a distance of 65.23m, which would have put him in seventh place this evening.
