Great Britain's Paralympic sprinter Hannah Cockroft has stormed into the women's T34 100m final.
The 19-year-old world record holder proved why she is the overwhelming favourite after launching ahead of her competitors in the second heat of the race, which allowed her to ease off in the final 10 metres.
Cockroft clinched a new Paralympic record of 18.24s when she crossed the finish line, while Yousra Ben Jemaa finished in the second qualifying spot.
Amy Siemons of the Netherlands recorded the best time of 19.94s in the first heat.
