Jessica Ennis-Hill admits that winning an Olympic medal in Rio next year would be "incredible" given that she had a two-year break from competing.

Great Britain's Jessica Ennis-Hill has admitted that winning another Olympic medal would be an "incredible" achievement following a two-year break.

The 29-year-old, who won gold in the heptathlon at London 2012, took a break from athletics due to injury and to have her first son Reggie.

Ennis-Hill is now gearing up for a potential campaign at the World Championships in Beijing before eventually trying to defend her Olympic title in Brazil next year.

"To win gold at my first Olympics and then pick up another medal at my second Olympics I could not walk away from my career and be disappointed," The Telegraph quotes Ennis-Hill as saying.

"I would be really happy with that. To have had a big break, had my first child, all these changes and then come back to win another medal would be pretty incredible."

The Brit is due to take part in the London Anniversary Games this weekend.
