Great Britain have booked their place in the final of the women's 4 x 100m relay at the Olympic Games.
The quartet of Asha Philip, Desiree Henry, Dina Asher-Smith and Daryll Neita were drawn in lane seven but they produced a composed performance to ensure that they were never in danger of not progressing through to the final.
The final changeover saw Neita do battle with Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce, but the British representative was content to ease down in the closing stages with a top-three finish already secured.
Ukraine claimed third position but a Netherlands team including Dafne Schippers could only finish in seventh place.
Germany won the second semi-final but USA ended in last place after failing to get the baton round.
