Jessica Ennis has walked away with the silver medal for the heptathlon at the World Athletics Championships at Daegu.
The Brit had been in the lead after the first five events - 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m and long jump.
However, she trailed to eventual Russian gold winner Tatyana Chernova after a poor performance at the javelin, managing just 39.95m to Chernova's 52.95m.
Defending champion Ennis needed to beat Chernova by nine seconds in the 800m event but despite achieving a new personal best of two minutes 7.81 seconds, her lead was less than a second.
